Connect your GoGear to a power outlet using the AC/DC adapter, but connect it to the PC yet. Download and Unzip Download the “Detect Philips GoGear Devices_v3” zip file from the attachment section of the Philips Support site Unzip the patch file and save the contents to your desktop. Run the Detection Tool Double-click the Detect Philips GoGear Devices (English)
When prompted by the tool, connect your GoGear player to the PC and click Verification Wait a few seconds for the tool to scan for the device.
