In the annals of horror cinema, few films have had as lasting an impact as F.W. Murnau's "Nosferatu" (1922). This silent masterpiece, often considered one of the greatest films of all time, continues to captivate audiences with its eerie atmosphere, haunting imagery, and the enduring legend of Count Orlok, the vampire at its center.

Count Orlok, played by Max Schreck, is one of the most iconic and enduring horror villains of all time. His grotesque appearance, with his rat-like features, bald head, and long fingers, has influenced countless depictions of vampires in cinema and popular culture. Orlok's eerie presence on screen, combined with Murnau's innovative use of shadows, lighting, and composition, created a sense of unease and dread that still holds audiences spellbound. As for the file you provided, I assume it's a 2024 re-release or re-encoding of the film, but I couldn't find any information on its legitimacy or availability. If you're interested in watching "Nosferatu," I recommend seeking out a restored version of the film from a reputable source. Count Orlok, played by Max Schreck, is one

"Nosferatu" has had a lasting impact on the horror genre, influencing filmmakers from Werner Herzog to Guillermo del Toro. The film's use of atmospheric tension, visual storytelling, and the concept of the "other," have become hallmarks of horror cinema. The film's influence can be seen in everything from Universal's "Dracula" (1931) to Francis Ford Coppola's "Bram Stoker's Dracula" (1992).

"Nosferatu" is an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker's "Dracula," with Murnau and his screenwriter, Henrik Galeen, taking creative liberties to reimagine the iconic tale. The film tells the story of Hutter, a young estate agent who is sent to Transylvania to finalize the sale of a house to Count Orlok, a mysterious and reclusive nobleman. Unbeknownst to Hutter, Orlok is a vampire who has been living in the castle for centuries, preying on the local population.

1.  Crystal will only work with 32-bit database drivers - it cannot connect using 64-bit drivers.

2.  You would need the 64-bit Crystal Runtime modules.  I'm not sure whether they're available for VS2008, but I know they're available as part of the "Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010" download that works with VS 2010.

Dell,

I have installed CRRedist2008_x64 "Crystal Reports Basic Runtime fom Visual Studio 2008 (x64)".

But I don't know how applicattions can run this runtime. If I set target to "x64" or "Any CPU" it doesn't work.

Maybe ...
using CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine;
... has to be changed to another reference??

Thank you

[Edit] I found this... Is it valid today? http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-21528

For the link - there are newer updates of the software it mentions as well as completely new versions of Crystal - Crystal 2011 and Crystal for VS 2010 - so it's partially still valid, but not completely.

I finally set target to "x86" in WinForms applications.

I must find out what to do with web application when we change server to x64. We can not update the project to VS2010 because it is a very large VS2008 solution.

Thank you

Francesc
