(Sewing Projects for Children: Weaving Development, Creativity, and Motor Skills) Abstract This paper examines the pedagogical and developmental impacts of sewing projects tailored for children aged 6–12. Moving beyond traditional gender stereotypes, sewing is presented as a multidisciplinary activity that enhances fine motor skills, mathematical reasoning, emotional regulation, and sustainable design awareness. The paper proposes a structured framework for age-appropriate sewing projects and evaluates qualitative outcomes from pilot workshops in São Paulo and Lisbon.
