He doesn’t move. He just looks at her. She walks slowly toward the gate. Her hand reaches through the bars. Their fingers touch. Vidyachatur slaps him
A grand, traditional Gujarati household. The atmosphere is tense. GUMA (Monalisa), the comical yet sharp maid, dusts a photograph of Saraswatichandra.
“I don’t know where I’m going. But I’m done running.”
