If your Solus Pro is on a software version prior to 2022 (i.e., missing GM Global B or Ford FD-CAN), do not buy the update. Instead, relegate the tool to legacy vehicle duty (2000–2015 models) where it still shines. Use the $1,000+ you would have spent on the update as a down payment on a modern, Android-based scan tool with native cloud updating.
