You give chase, sniping at the halftrack's tires and trying to disable it. Krauss's escorts return fire, pinning you down behind a nearby stack of crates. You manage to take out the escorts and leap onto the halftrack, engaging in a fierce hand-to-hand combat with Krauss.

In the end, you emerge victorious, silencing Krauss and destroying the Thunderbolt's prototype. Your mission, "Ghost," is a success. As you escape the base, you know that the Allies will be one step ahead in the war, thanks to your bravery and marksmanship.

It's 1944, and the Allies are pushing deep into occupied France. You play as Karl Fairburne, an elite sniper and operative working for the OSS. Your mission, code-named "Ghost," is to infiltrate a heavily fortified German base in the French countryside and gather vital intel on a new, top-secret Nazi project.

Your CO, Colonel Clarke, briefs you on the situation: "Intel suggests the Germans are developing a powerful new artillery piece, capable of leveling entire cities. We need you to get inside, find out what you can, and take out the project leader, Dr. Helmut Krauss."

You arrive at the base, a sprawling complex surrounded by dense forest and a high stone wall. Your mission begins under the cover of night, with a stealthy infiltration through a ventilation shaft. As you navigate the ductwork, you overhear conversations between German soldiers and scientists, hinting at the project's existence.

At dawn, you make your way to the test range, navigating through a hail of bullets as German forces scramble to prepare the artillery piece for firing. You spot Krauss, standing proudly beside the massive gun.

With the clock ticking, you line up a shot on Krauss... but just as you're about to squeeze the trigger, a group of bombers flies overhead, and the Thunderbolt's test firing begins. The recoil from the massive gun sends you stumbling back, and when you regain your footing, Krauss is escaping in a nearby halftrack.
